Greetings ๐ , we are delighted to invite you all to our fourth MRI webinar featuring Dr. Bijaya Thapa, PhD, DABR, a distinguished Medical Physicist at York Hospital, USA.
Title: "MRI Pulse Sequences (Spin Echo & Gradient Echo)"
In this talk, the speaker will provide a brief overview of MRI pulse sequences, focusing on Spin Echo and Gradient Echo techniques, their variants, and clinical applications from a physics perspective. These sequences are fundamental to MRI, determining how signals are generated, captured, and how tissue contrast is produced. Spin Echo sequences are known for their reliability and high image quality, while Gradient Echo sequences allow faster imaging and greater flexibility in contrast. Understanding these sequences is essential for optimizing image quality, tailoring imaging protocols, and enhancing diagnostic accuracy in clinical practice.
